What information does Garage Pak gather about me?
You are able to browse Garage Pak' s web sites without revealing any personal information. However, there are times that your information is necessary when you place an order, register your product, enter contests or respond to promotional campaigns.

How does Garage Pak use this information?
Garage Pak gathers your information to personalize and continually improve your online experience, including the following:

•	The information collected on Garage Pak's sites is used to process your requests, to provide you the highest quality of service, to tell you about opportunities we think will be of interest to you, and to understand your needs so that we can serve you better. For example, we may use your email or postal address to alert you about product recalls or safety issues or to tell you about opportunities we think will be of special interest.

•	Garage Pak creates aggregate reports on user demographics and traffic patterns for internal use and, on occasion, for our partners - again with a view towards improving our service to you. This tracking is not tied to personally identifiable information.

•	Garage Pak tracks the actions of the users of our site to determine what our customers want and do not want. Garage Pak does break down overall usage statistics and user behaviors according to a user's domain name, browser type, and MIME type by reading this information from the browser string (information contained in every user's browser). •	Garage Pak tracks and catalogs the search terms that users enter in the various Garage Pak search engines, but this tracking is not tied to personally identifiable information.

Occasionally, Garage Pak sends product registrants email communications with information we think they will find useful, including information about new products and services from our selected partners. Will Garage Pak share my information with other companies?
Garage Pak does not sell, rent, or lease customer information. We do employ other companies and individuals to perform functions on our behalf, and may need to disclose personally identifiable information in order to process many of the activities and functions that Garage Pak customers request. Examples include sending postal mail and email that customers have requested, removing repetitive information from customer lists, analyzing data, providing assistance processing credit card payments, and providing customer service. These companies, that Garage Pak has partnered with, need to access personal information to perform their functions, but may not use it for other purposes.

A part from this, we disclose personal information only in the good faith belief that we are required to do so by law, or that doing so is reasonably necessary to:

How does Garage Pak secure my personal information?
Garage Pak uses reasonable precautions to protect your personal information stored on our system from loss, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction. While no computer system is completely secure, we believe the measures implemented by our site reduce the likelihood of security problems to a level appropriate to the type of data involved.

Garage Pak has built into Garage Pak's Online Store an order submission process that encrypts any information you send to us. You do not have to do anything to have your information encrypted, it is already there if you are using an encryption enabled browser. Garage Pak uses the widely adopted Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to accomplish this encryption. By encrypting your information, our intent is to make it extremely difficult for someone to be able to use your information even if it is intercepted.

Garage Pak gathers user information at times of purchasing, customer support, software downloads and otherwise as follows:

A.	Garage Pak's Online Store: Garage Pak provides Garage Pak products and Third-Party products for purchase and, at the time of purchase, you are required to provide your credit card number to conclude the transaction and your mailing address to ensure proper delivery. Credit card information is never transferred to our customer database and is only used for collection purposes.

B.	Garage Pak Forums: During registration for the Garage Pak Forums support service, the registrant is asked to provide information such as name, email address, the Garage Pak products owned by the registrant, and other information. The registrant's name, email address, and the Garage Pak products owned will be added to Garage Pak's customer database, unless you instruct us otherwise. This information helps us to inform customers when upgrades or changes to products occur. Any other information provided by the registrant will be used only in an aggregate form to help Garage Pak better define the likes, dislikes and general demographic picture of its customers. Remember that any information you disclose while posting messages to the Garage Pak Forums message boards is immediately accessible by the public - discretion should be used in posting personally identifiable information within such forums.

C.	Software Download: Garage Pak makes available various software applications for download from the Garage Pak sites. Before software can be downloaded, you are asked to provide information such as name, email address, the Garage Pak products owned by the registrant, and other information. The registrant\'s name, email address, and the Garage Pak products owned will be added to Garage Pak's customer database, unless you instruct us otherwise. Any other information provided by the registrant will be used only in an aggregate form to help Garage Pak better define the likes, dislikes and general demographic picture of its customers. Garage Pak may also offer Third-Party software for download (such as Adobe ActiveShare software or RealNetwork's RealJukebox software). D.	Contests and/or Sweepstakes: Garage Pak often offers contests and sweepstakes on the Garage Pak sites. Because the rules and terms of each contest or sweepstake can vary, all information about each contest or sweepstake will be clearly posted during the event. All contests and sweepstakes are conducted in full accordance with United States federal and state laws. When registering for a contest or sweepstake, Garage Pak requests certain personal information. At a minimum, the required information includes name and email address; in some cases, the user must answer mandatory survey questions about a range of other personal data. Surveys: Occasionally Garage Pak conducts on-line user surveys or polls to better target the content of the Garage Pak sites and the Garage Pak proyducts to our Web visitors and the public in general. Garage Pak Forums Support Service: Users of the Garage Pak Forums must register separately (free of charge) in order to post messages on the Garage Pak Forums (although a user need not register to simply read information posted there). During registration, the user is required to supply a username, password, and email address. Remember that any information you disclose while posting messages to the Garage Pak Forums message boards is immediately accessible by the public - discretion should be used in posting personally identifiable information within such forums.

All the Garage Pak sites may, at one time or another, use cookies or log and track IP addresses to get an accurate count of users visiting our site, what they looked for while at the site, how many pages they viewed and the like. This information is used in an aggregate form to help Garage Pak improve the content of the Garage Pak sites, to evaluate shopping trends and to predict demand for products.
